About
Hello, my name is Mathew Shamloo and I am a 27 year-old creative mind living in Atlanta. I was born, raised and educated in Pensacola, Florida. I have always been interested in form, color, and design in general. I have been fortunate enough in life to be able to do what i love…and that is be creative.
I currently work as the graphic/web designer for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce (honored as one of the nation’s top chambers in 2008). I love drawing inspiration from all aspects of life, be it from visiting the museums to graffiti sprayed on the back of a billboard to craft fairs.
I graduated from the University of West Florida in 2007, with a Bachelors’ in advertising with a minor in marketing. During my junior and senior years, I served as creative director of Hotshop, UWF’s advertising team, and competed in the NSAC.
After graduation, I was hired as a graphic designer for Birdwell Photography and Multimedia in Pensacola. While there I worked on projects including the branding for the City of Pensacola, multimedia for the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, and branding materials for Avalex Technologies (named one of the fastest growing companies in America by Inc. magazine in 2007).
I never knew what I wanted to do when I grew up…I just knew I wanted to be creative.
